Are any of those families still living in the city?
And how will they react when they hear the truth?
Nil continues researching the names she found in the archives.
A day later, one name on the list catches her attention.
It is a family from the same area, still living in the city.
Muna, Nil says, turning the screen around.
Her family lost their home forty years ago.
She now works at a law firm in the city center.
A lawyer?
Ahmet Bey asks, his eyes lighting up.
That is exactly what we need.
Büşra and Lena decide to visit Muna's office.
The building is modern and orderly.
Unlike the old bazaar, this is the new face of the city.
While waiting in the reception area, Büşra feels a little nervous.
What if she does not believe us?
She whispers to Lena.
Even if she does not, Lena says, the documents speak for themselves.
Muna invites them into her office.
She is a young, determined woman, with a careful curiosity in her eyes.
What did you want to see me about?
She asks, gesturing for them to sit.
Büşra begins explaining everything.
The tower, the message, Ahmet Bey, Elif, Münir, the mill, the documents.
As she talks, Muna's expression changes.
She listens carefully, occasionally taking notes.
When Büşra finishes, there is a long silence.
My family, Muna says slowly, never talked about this.
They just used to say, We lost our old house.
They never explained why.
Maybe they did not know, Büşra says.
Or maybe they were afraid to talk about it.
Muna asks to look at the documents.
Büşra hands her the box.
She reads carefully, page by page.
Her face shows surprise first, then anger, then determination.
This is real, she finally says.
And if it is true, many people, including my own family, were affected by this injustice.
Will you help us?
Lena asks.
Muna looks at the documents one last time, then raises her head.
I will not just help, she says.
I will take this case.
Officially.
Büşra and Lena look at each other, sharing a small smile.
For the first time, they feel that this might actually be possible.
Will Muna be able to gather enough evidence for the case?
And how will the family react when they learn a lawyer is now involved?
